Staphylococcus aureus causes many severe diseases, such as meningitis, lung infection, and hematogenous osteomyelitis. The prolonged use of antibiotic drugs leads to antimicrobial resistance (AMR), decreasing their effectiveness against S. aureus. Therefore, novel isolated from natural products have been the focus researchers solve that problem. essential oils Vitex trifolia leaf pharmacological activities, including antibacterial antifungal activities. In this research, oil was by distillation, followed GC-MS analysis. activity conducted using a disc diffusion test (KirbyBauer) molecular docking study. yield distillation 0.13%, containing major compounds sabinene, eucalyptol, terpinen-4-ol, αterpineol, limonene, caryophyllene. gave intermediate inhibition with 6.91 ± 0.03 mm zone in 20 mg/mL sample.
